Cranksandcoffee.dk Evoc Bike Bag Pro Rental Terms & Conditions
Rental Period:
Your rental period starts on the day you choose on the calendar. Bike bag pickup and bike drop-off (for packing service) occur on the rental start date. You will not be able to pick up the bag before your rental starts.
Packing Service:
- For the packing service (1000 DKK), bike drop-off is required one working day before your rental period starts. We cannot guarantee same-day packing services.
- Example: If your rental starts on a Sunday, you must drop off your bike by Thursday before closing time.
- You will receive a text message notification when your bike is packed and the bike bag is ready for pickup.
Bicycle Service:
- For the bicycle service (500 DKK), bike drop-off is required two working days before your rental period starts.
- Example: If your rental starts on a Sunday, you must drop off your bike by Wednesday before closing time.
Deposit:
A 1000 DKK deposit is required at the time of rental. This deposit covers potential damages and late returns.
Late Returns:
- A late return fee of 500 DKK per day will be charged for any bike bag returned after the designated rental end date.
- The deposit will be used to cover late return fees first, with any remaining balance due at the shop upon return.
Damages:
- You are responsible for any damage to the Evoc Bike Bag Pro during the rental period.
- We reserve the right to deduct the following from your deposit for specific damages:
- Wheels: 200 DKK
- Broken Frame: 1000 DKK
- Ripped Bag: 5000 DKK
- In cases where the bag is rendered unusable (e.g., extensive rips or tears), you are liable for the full replacement cost of 8000 DKK.
Recommended Packing:
Important: If you choose to pack your bike differently from the recommended method and do not utilize our packing service, you are solely responsible for any damage caused to your bike and the bag.
Liability:
- Packing Service: Cranks is not liable for any damage to your bike that may occur during shipping or travel, even when using our packing service. We will pack your bike according to the recommended method, but have no liability for any damages incurred during transport.
- General: Cranksandcoffee.dk is not liable for any damage to your bike during the rental period.
Cancellation Policy:
In case of cancellation you have to write an email to Webshop@cranksandcoffee.dk to cancel your rental of the bikebag. We reserve the right to the following:
- In case of cancellation, we reserve the right to:
- Cancellations made 7 days or more prior to the reservation: receive a full refund including deposit.
- Cancellations made less than 7 days but more than 24 hours prior to the reservation: forfeit 50% of the reservation amount (excluding deposit, which will be returned in full).
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the reservation: forfeit 100% of the paid amount (excluding deposit, which will be returned in full).
Insurance:
Cranksandcoffee.dk does not provide any insurance on the bike. You are responsible for ensuring you have the correct insurance coverage for your bicycle.
Dispute Resolution:
Cranks reserves the right to assess damage and determine associated costs at its discretion.
