Princeton CarbonWorks Alta 3532: the shallowest and lightest wheelset from PCW, engineered to excel on the steepest climbs.

An advanced evolution, the Alta 3532 integrates unique features that make it an ultra-light, stiff, and responsive wheelset built to last.

With a 21mm internal hooked tubeless-ready clincher profile, it supports wider, modern tires, while PCW’s signature non-drilled tire bed enables quick, easy tubeless setup. A specially shaped valve exit allows for easier tightening, making adjustments more comfortable.

The Alta 3532 is also the first wheelset in the PCW lineup to incorporate our new EVOLUTION rim design and layup. With rim depths of 35 and 32 millimeters and a weight of just 348 grams (hooked, clincher, tubeless-ready), it achieves improved spoke tension balance and optimized performance by utilizing rim geometry to balance spoke angles. Steeper spokes (drive side on the rear wheel, disc side on the front wheel) attach to the deeper section, creating better symmetry with the opposing spokes.

For the first time, a variable, asymmetric cross-section is employed, enhancing spoke engagement and providing a more direct spoke-to-rim interface; the nipple bed articulates between drive and non-drive sides with each spoke, aligning spoke entry angles to the rim.

EVOLUTION is a fundamentally lighter design approach, removing material from the inner rim edge to optimize spoke bracing angles and tensions, delivering a more efficient and effective wheelset.
