The Sram RED AXS XG-1290 is made specifically for the Sram Red eTap AXS 12-speed road groupsets. The XG-1290 cassette is an integral part of the eTap AXS groupset and features the X-Range technology which offers up to 360% gear ratio on the cassette. The Cassettes starts from the 10 tooth sprocket for high speeds but has at least five closely spaced sprockets with just a single tooth jump. The Cassette is milled from a single block of steel and is thanks to the X-Dome design lightweight yet strong.
