The Shimano MT900 XTR Disc Brake Rotor is developed with the successful Ice-Technologies Freeza construction while also being weight-optimized with a reduction of up to 10 grams. Furthermore, these disc rotors improved heat dissipation by up to 20°C. The effective heat management is down to the sandwich structure of Stainless Steel, Aluminium and then again stainless steel. This improves braking performance and reliability. This results in first-class and consistent braking even when riding in the most demanding conditions.
